I am Currently working on a new section to the site called Epics. More details on this section should be in next months rag, depending on how far I have got with designing this section. Please try and make this website even more of a success by send this to any of your friends and telling other people about it, as we would really like to expand the number of readers to the site (and maybe even try to get them to sign up to the goblin rag)
RANTS
=====
Just done some more testing on the site with some different browsers and I have found that on Netscape 4 there was a problem with the more rants by ... in which it messed up the URL of the page, therefore causing errors. I have now managed to fix this for all you Netscape 4 users (it also probably occurred in quite a few old browsers and a few of the strange ones)
As the rants section is now more popular than ever before I have expanded the new comments list so that it list the last 10 rants commented on. This means that the people who don't visit all that regularly have a better chance of keeping on top of what is going on in the rants section. I've also changed the layout of some of the pages a bit, epically the first page, which just looks so much better when the scroll bar doesn't come up, hence I've removed some of the blank spaces in that page.

Chat

We have added another log file to the log section. This new log is a short chat between me and ball cock about the state of the railways, and is linked to the rant Railways 1 and 2. The chat room is also linked with the old chat room on the Undernet network whenever I am online, and has started to come alive again. Note I can be found on the chat room at various times throughout the week after 6pm and during the weekend at various times. Just have a look at the stats page to see when we chat in there.
Front Page

Just a slight change to the way it looks, but a big change to the way its coded to make it all nice and neat and pass the html validator. It should also load more quickly, due to the changes and removal of certain things from it as well.
Surveys

After the cheating going on some of the polls we decided to install a new system to prevent cheating on them. I'm not saying who it works, so people don't have a basis to start on to crack it. However the old system is still working as well, meaning it should be even harder to cheat the polls quickly.
